Attention: writing/editing help is needed for this essay!
I wrote this paper in response to a terribly slanderous & disingenuous article written about me by NewTimes newpaper. First-off, its crucial that you know this fact:
'Mr. Mooney (the author), never even met me in person! His interview was conducted via a couple of brief telephone conversations. The only reason that he knows what my truck looked like is due to the fact that when I was first seeking that interview I drove my truck to the
New Times office.
In constructing his piece Mooney combined of a couple of my quotes, many half-truths, & some misquotes, & some out-right lies. Finally, intending to give the false appearance of being fair & balanced, at the end of his article he provided a link to my web-site that presented my ideology. The problem is he never hooked-up that link to the internet!!! But, even if He had, after his master hatchet job no-one would waste their time to read of my ideology anyways!
Anyways, his failure to hook up my web-site in his article speaks volumes about his lack of integrity.
If he hadn't the time to adequately read my writings in order to write an accurate article, he ought to have passed up the task to write the article! (interestingly, when reading his writings he comes off as being a righteousness-zealot. But, in the article he has written on me, he has shown himself to be a hypocrite; non-different from the bad guys whom he exposes)
Sadly, the slanderous article he has authored about me has effectively stalled the priceless work that I am called by God to spearhead (if one is not already famous, when something is published, making you appear like a buffoon, people will straightaway reject anything you are saying)
In this paper I have done my best to, one-by-one, respond to each of his slanders thru telling the truth about what I did say in that interview.
In the article Mooney speaks of the 'biological aroma' emanating from my van.
That is his first pure lie
Please ponder the following:
> How would he know the odor coming from my van if he never met me in person?
As God is my witness, neither, he nor any other New Times employee had walked anywhere near my truck!
(I do smoke grass. But, my overwhelming usage stems from my few tokes I do right before my regular communing sessions with the Lord (1/4 oz lasts me about three weeks).
Bong? Haven't used one in about 10 years!
Next, my findings from my google search conducted on him: If you click the link at the end of this paragraph you will find an article Mooney has authored which reeks of his bias against both devout religious folks & conservatives leaders. In this article he 'joyfully' writes about a once influential Christian leader who turned out to be a hypocrite. Frankly, I have no problem with someone exposing religious hypocrites. But, that is only part of the article. This article also reeks of his disdain of conservative leaders; specifically Anne Coulter & Rush Limbaugh. Additionally, he uses the popular, far-leftist terminologies 'far right' & 'homophobes'. Plus, he includes a caricature (derogatory) of a Christian holding a Bible, fearfully running from a homosexual.
On another note, regarding my prayer-life: I follow an unorthodox spiritual practice of utilizing certain substances (in small doses) with the intent temporally enhancing my receiving clearer transmissions from Above. When certain substances are used in a spiritual context they are called Entheogens (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entheogen)
Presently, this spiritual practice is foreign to most in Judeo-Christianity.
But, nevertheless its of God! The Bible attests to such things without listing any specifics:
Entheogens is one of God's spiritual 'Gifts from Above' (for an in-depth study on the subject of entheogens, please read the following essay which I have authored: www.sacredsubstances.homestead,com)
As you ought to be able to see, I’ve written prolifically. To understand my beliefs one has to do a fair amount of reading. It seems to me that Mooney was not willing to invest the time to read my writings in order to write an accurate article. Rather, it appears he merely skimmed my writings. Then, he purposely drew faulty conclusions that amused him! (satan can easily work thru a dishonest man, like Mooney. (Also, a man who parades as a Christian I met on a facebook page, tim caulder, is so much like him!) Most of this piece was the product of Mooney's faulty conclusions, and him having fun at a religious man's expense!
For example, he wrote that I said "All Christians ought to smoke grass, as that makes us 'Fools for God' ". That is a total lie! I never said anything remotely like that!
The two subjects, smoking grass & being a 'Fool-for-God', have absolutely nothing to do with each other! These two subjects are totally unrelated!
Additionally, I have written another totally unrelated work regarding the spiritual application of marijuana & other substances;
(As you can see my 'Fool for God' essay is posted on a different & unrelated web-site than is my essay on the spiritual application of certain substances)
Again, these two topics are totally unrelated!
Additionally, the following misquote is actually a half-truth: "Everyone in the church ought to be smoking grass & taking mushrooms." Rather, what I did say was something like: "The church people ought to try such substances & each disciple ought to weigh for himself whether it proves itself beneficial in hearing better from God. If it proves itself helpful, adopt this practice. If it isn't, reject it."
Also, he wrote that I have combined the teachings of Rev Moon, Pat Robertson, and Christian Coalition. There is absolutely no truth to that statement!
(For your information, Christian Coalition has no doctrine! Their sole function is to educate voters about the political goings-on from a Christian perspective)
Herein is what I did say: "My ideology is a lot like that of Rev Moon (interfaith oriented). I attempted to get my ideas on the 700 club (Pat Robertson), but failed. Regarding my statement on Christian Coalition: God revealed to me a strategy, if implemented, would have succeeded where Christian Coalition failed in their mission to compel black religious folks to join with white religious folks in only voting pro-life (this would have made social conservatives the most potent voting force in america!)
> www.usplan.homestead.com (much writing help needed for this essay). if they would have been successful america would have evolved into a Christian theocracy long ago. America's racial problems would be miles better than they are today!
More of my testimony: I smoke alittle right before prayer, as for me and many others, it helps open the phone lines, helps us hear better from God! When used in a sacramental context, grass is a holy herb for many people. However, people who have abused grass by smoking too often, to indulge in a high, have a completely different experience. For them its like a beer is to an a alcoholic. Common sense: Two million Rastafarians use grass in a sacramental way. Obviously, some are making an excuse to indulge. But, certainly not all of them! Not every Rasta is a liar! Obviously, There must be something holy about grass that the mainstream has missed! James 1:17: "Every good and perfect gift comes from Above, comes from the Father."
I would easily have won a spiritual defense, a landmark case! However, in my preliminary hearing, when I had told the presiding judge that I hear better from God after take a few puffs of grass, evidently she thought I might be crazy. Subsequently, she ordered me evaluated by court appointed shrinks. During the evaluations I informed the shrinks I was a ex-mental patient whom the Lord delivered from that very dark place.
Anyways, due to that past, coupled with my unshaking confidence I would win this case with one hand tied behind my back, evidently the broward county hierarchy’s huge egos became afraid a former mental patient (myself), defending himself, would win a landmark case, would outshine their prosecutors! (Since I’m not famous, and I was defending myself, and I didn’t have media in the court to keep the court honest, they did me dirty, in a way I couldn't foresee.
The time of my trial, the judge changed the perimeters. He said, “No adjudication, no jail time”. Due to the court's new posturing, I lost my constitutional right to be judged by a jury. His next step was the highly unethical one: Not only did he refuse to permit me to present to the court my legal president, But, also, he wouldn’t allow me to speak even one word in my own defense! Next, the court found me guilty! As God is my witness, the story I have given you is 100% truthful!
